Born

- She is a graduate of the Department of French Literature of the Kapodistrian University of Athens and has a degree in Italian linguistics from the University of Ferrara (Italy).
- She studied journalism, mass media and communication (Ant1 MediaLab) and is currently attending second-year classes in psychology at the European University Cyprus.
- She speaks Greek, English, French, Italian, Spanish and Arabic.
Professional career
- 2000 : In April 2000, Eleonora started working for various magazines and newspapers as a translator of scientific articles and international news. She continues to work as a translator to this day, although she currently concentrates on translating theatre plays.
- 2001 : She started her career in journalism as a reporter and editor of international news, and has been active as a journalist and TV presenter for major television and radio networks since October 2001. Now, 23 years later, she is well established in the field, successfully presenting newscasts, entertainment shows, talk shows and social research documentaries.
- 2014 : She has been writing articles for popular Greek and Cypriot sites for over 10 years, inciting much interest with her sharp and witty penmanship. Lately, following the current trend, she has been spending a lot of time editing and presenting a series of podcasts, mainly about current social affairs. These have been very well received by the public.
- 2021 : In October 2021, Eleonora released her first book, ‘Woman in Search’, in collaboration with the publishing house Dioptra. The book, which, through a diary narration of personal experiences, deals with the demanding role of women in a society affected by racial pathologies and stereotypes, quickly entered the bestseller list, selling more than 18 000 copies.
- 2024 : On 22 May 2024, she released her second book, ‘I Always Dreamed of a Purple Bike’. The book is based on true events, detailing Eleonora’s own journey to mental resilience and healing from the trauma of emotional abuse, an experience she has spoken about publicly in the past. This book also made it onto the bestseller list, in less than 20 days this time, selling in excess of 11 000 copies.
Other activities
- She is married to the entrepreneur Thodoris Marosoulis and is mother to a six-year-old girl named Alexandra Oceanida.
- In her spare time, Eleonora loves to windsurf, ski and waterski.
Honours
- Known for her dynamic and unconventional personality, she is regarded as one of the most popular media presences in the Greek-speaking world. For this reason, she has been invited to participate in dozens of conferences relating to mental health and female empowerment.
